Ramadan Skincare Routine: Hydrate, Soothe, and Protect
A practical Ramadan skincare routine to keep skin calm, hydrated, and protected through fasting days.
Why Skin Changes During Ramadan
During Ramadan, long fasting hours and schedule changes can lead to dehydration and a weaker skin barrier. A gentle routine helps prevent tightness, dullness, and irritation.
Morning Routine
Use a mild, non-stripping cleanser.
Apply a hydrating serum with glycerin or hyaluronic acid.
Lock in moisture with a barrier-supporting cream.
Finish with SPF 50 every day.
Night Routine After Iftar
After Iftar, focus on recovery: cleanse, hydrate, and use soothing ingredients like niacinamide, ceramides, and panthenol. Keep exfoliation minimal, one to two nights per week.
Ramadan Tips
Drink enough water between Iftar and Suhoor.
Avoid over-exfoliating during fasting days.
Prioritize sleep whenever possible.
